About Me
I am a graduate of the University of Reading with a degree in Film and Theatre (First Class), now based in South-West London.
I began my professional training at The Oxford School of Drama where I studied Acting on a six-month acting foundation course, which helped develop a strong understanding of theatrical writing from an actor's perspective and helped develop my writing further.
After that, I went on to explore every creative direction possible whilst at university and became skilled in writing plays (for both theatre and radio). As a writer, I have directed two of my own plays during university (One Night in October & The Ending) and also had my work directed (Ham). My roles on film sets have also been widely varied, including cinematographer, actor, lighting designer, production assistant and more.
Since leaving university, in the heart of the pandemic and national lockdowns, I have not stopped striving to write and perform. To start, I made my dissertation project (The Ending) available online. I also co-created a theatre podcast (The Talking Theatre Podcast) with a fellow theatre student from Reading, which has now finished its second season. I also co-founded Periphery Theatre in order to help other early-career creatives in the future by providing roles across theatre in our productions of new plays. This has also led to my play (blue bottles) being produced professionally by myself and Megan Basnett in Kentish Town, London.
I have experience in almost every aspect of theatre and my knowledge is very diverse, however, my true passions lie in writing, performing and supporting other creatives. Whatever the future holds, I cannot wait!
